This year, many trends that have been developing for the past few years are coming to fruition. They are putting comfort first and making winter fashion warmer and more accessible. Of course, all of these trends are still cute and perfect for an easy winter.

Athleisure

Athleisure is a style that has become more and more popular over the years. Most athleisure clothes are comfortable and look a bit more athletic. Some popular brands are Nike, Adidas, Lululemon and Athleta. Target also carries athleisure wear that may be cheaper than other brands.

Fanny Packs

Fanny packs were a big trend back in the 1980’s and they have been making their comeback for the past few years. Fanny packs are great for people who do not need to carry much around and do not want to take a big purse with them. Many high-end brands such as Prada and Louis Vuitton have begun to design their own fanny packs that have become popular on the market.

Sweater Pants

We all wear sweaters, scarves, earmuffs and gloves, but shouldn’t our legs get some love, too? A big new trend is sweater pants or pants made of sweater material. This material can be anything from cashmere to knit cotton.

Scarves (striped)

Scarves are always in style, but a good way to brighten any winter look is with a patterned scarf. An easy pattern that goes with almost anything is stripes. Horizontal, vertical, small, big, you name it, you can find it and pair it with many outfits.

Chunky Knits

A chunky sweater is a crowd-favorite every year and this year is no different. Chunky knit sweaters are a bit bulkier, but they will keep you warm throughout the season. They are easy to pair with jeans, dresses or skirts.
